It's been a couple days :-) Well, friday after my exams a friend called to go for a couple of drinks, so I went :-) It was fun, watching all the drunk people inside & how boring they could act... After that, I went to see Olivia, my girlfriend, and she asked me to accompany her to a birthday party of a friend of her... At first I was the only guy there, so I got scared... I hate girls-only nights - they can't stop talking about clothes, and hairdoings, and perfume, and ... But after an hour, some guys also showed up... not that I knew any of these, but the subject changed from time to time :-) It was a pretty boring party in my eyes, but "my eyes" were pretty subjective, cuz they had only been closed for less than 2 hours that night.. Being tired + alcohol = sleepy :-) that's for sure ! But I have to admit, they served good sangria :-)

Saturday morning wasn't fun either : I had to get up early (8AM) to go home again, to take the car back to Leuven... I had to visit the girl from my car accident to pay for the damage... Before I was going home, I visited that bar again for some caffeine & refreshment - it was so hot yesterday - and another friend walked in... One drink led to another, and one friend to another, so it became a small party in stead of "a drink to refresh" :-) Didn't drink much alcohol, because I still had to drive the car home... It was around 10PM when I got home again, and I was pretty tired... Watched a movie (Billy Maddisson) and went to bed...

Today it's study-day again (mathematics) but I'm still not fully rested, so it's hard to focus... Today I'm gonna try to finish before 4AM, because my body can't handle it anymore :-) Tomorrow my last final - after that paaarteeey :-)

It's 2:30 AM now... and I'm, guess what, still studying... I still have 250 more pages to do... so it'll be a short night (again!)

Tomorrow I have a test on databases (mysql and stuff like that) and I'm a bit scared of it : It shouldn't be problem, be it will be because the queries'll be so complicated it'll take ages to decipher them. I hope the dinosaur (teacher) is in a good mood, cuz it's an oral examination and that helps..

I'm tired now (why oh why :-p) but I won't give up...

It's doable in let's say 4 hours, so I'm gonna hit those books again...

I have to say, everybody was looking at me for that brief moment... gave me the chance to grab that eagerly-wanted bowl of potato chips :-)

But acting stupid most of the time has also a downside to it : people start to raise questions about my sanity... I don't mind :-) Better being considered insane and being sane, than the other way around :-)

Today I have to study databases... not my very favourite subject, but not too difficult to me....

Well, I'm off to the BBQ now

I have to talke another final in a couple of hours... and I feel sooo not ready for it. I haven't studied at all :-S But on the other hand, I should already have enough points for this class I'm gonna pass it when I get a zero at this one :-) So I shouldn't worry, but I do...

After this I'm gonna go copy some other stuff for other finals (yeah I know, I've had a whole year to do so, but I do it 2 days in front of the final - typically me), and after that, back to boozing :-) Don't wonna be drunk tonight though, cuz I have to drive when I get back home.

PS I wonna say Hi to Sandra, supporting her for her finals - Always fun on netmeeting & chat ! :-)

Yesterday there was something wrong with the people... When I stepped off the train, everybody was looking at me like my fly was open. I checked - it wasn't. Well, don't know what was so special about me, but everybody was looking at me. At school, I did my exam pretty good, but I wouldn't be myself if something strange didn't happen: When I left the oral exam, I kicked the teacher's leg.. Not very hard though, but she shook up... I hope kicking teacher's doesn't affect your grades :-)

After my exam, I was to meet a friend to go for a couple of drinks, but he didn't showed up, he called he left to the beach already. Well, I went by myself, and had a good time... I know a couple of regulars at that bar, so it wasn't a problem. It has even an advantage : I got drunk without paying a lot of drinks - people always bought me drinks, which is fine by me... Afterwards I went to my girlfriend's place, because I had to help for her final today. She asked me to do some roleplaying : I was a customer and she was someone from a travel agency. It was hard not to act stupid in the role of customer when you're drunk ! :-)

Today I slept really long, had to catch up on some sleep. It's now 7:40PM and it feels like it's still noon :-) But I'm awake now, and ready again to do some schoolwork... I have already taken 5 from the 10 finals, so I'm already halfway... Monday the next one, and I'll be one step closer to the end :-) Looking really forward to that, because the only thing I'm learning now, is hating books :-)

Another short night :-S (I slept from 6.30AM til 10.30AM) But I feel like I know everything I should know, at least, if I don't miss my train, because I have to review still a lot. Still one hour left before I got to go...

After my final, I'm meeting Jo, one of my friends, again, to go for a drink. He's in Leuven for work, so he has all the time he wants for drinking ;-p Alcohol + really tired = super sleepy, so I don't know whether I'm gonna be able to post something later today :-)

The only thing I have to add right now is : pleaaaazze cross your fingers in about 2.30 hours !

I just dropped off Olivia, my girlfriend, at the station. She was here for a day to study and to have a decent meal :-) She was pretty pissed all day long though. She's under a lot of stress too, because she also has her finals, from her evening classes. But I think she's stressed out the most because my mother didn't pay her enough attention. Olivia misses a warm and caring mother, so she seeks one in mine (for you who don't know her story : she got kicked out of her parent's house when she was 18, because her mother had a problem with my mother 30 yrs ago, so her daughter and my mother's son (= me) couldn't be a couple in her mother's eyes - we now believe her mother has a mental illness of some kind --> full story only on request). My mother is rather a cold person, not that I really care, but Olivia does. In addittion to all this, a friend of Olivia is asking her for a loan, and that pisses her also off, because he's not looking for a job.

Well, Olivia has now gone back to her own place to study, so I'm back alone here, with my own books to study from :-S I have another final tomorrow, Operating Systems. That shouldn't be a problem, but I still have (again) a lot of pages to go. I also got back my results from a test taken from OS (subject Linux) during the year : 9.5 / 10 ! I'm quite happy with that, gives courage to continue studying. On the other hand : the weather here is so hot now (30°C = 86°F) so summer is really kicking in. It's hard not to think of the beach, or a pool, or summer parties etc. while sitting inside in a way-too-hot room behind your books. But a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do I guess....

I'm now officially a wreck..

This morning it started bad : I was going to the station for my train to my college, and as I got there, I saw the train passing right before my eyes. Stupid me always-being-there-on-the-last-second was now there-but-5-seconds-too-late :-S So I had to take the car to college. Wasn't what I hoped for, because I still had to review parts on that train, and I'm still nog able to read & drive at the same time. Anyways, my Economy final didn't go that well, but with a a bit of luck I might just pass that test. We'll see... Right now I just woke up after a very short night (from 2PM to 4.30PM). It was a hell getting out of bed, but I'm expecting visitors (friends who come help for some other finals) so I had to. I feel like a boiled spaghetti-stick : not able to stand up anymore, always falling to lie down. I think I'm going to bed early today :-)

Gonna drown myself in caffeine before those friends arrive.

The moment of Truth... 6 AM I'm still awake, studied all night long. I saw everything in that book I should see, but I'm probably too tired to remember it during my final :-S We'll see... I hope I get enough points to pass it, I'm not asking for more... Wanna sleep, wanna sleep, wanna sleep.... (very small) eyes are hurting, and I look like a zombie (but hey, what's new ;-) )

I have the strange feeling that I know everything I should know, but that I'm gonna mix things up soooo bad...

Pffffff! Reading those Economy books doesn't go as good as I thought it would go. Have still a lot of work to do, so... night-work :-( Probably even a no-sleep night. Still 120 pages left... and only 6 hours before I have to get "out of bed". Nicotine, caffeine, sugar... here I come :-T

Right now i'm busy studying Economics - buarggg - because of my final tomorrow. Not easy right now, because it's really hot in my room (raining + hot weather) I still have 6 chapters or 170 pages to go :-(
